Building Department
The Building Department is located on the second floor of Village Hall. Any action contemplated relating to residential and/or commercial property should be reviewed with the Building Department to determine what regulations, if any, are applicable and whether a permit, inspection or prior approval is required.
Contact the Building Department for the following:
- New Buildings
- Additions
- Alterations (interior or exterior)
- Accessory Structures (fences, sheds, decks, central air conditioning, etc.)
- Signs
- Plan Review and Inspections
- Issuance of Permits and Certificates of Occupancy
- Applications to Zoning Board of Appeals, Planning Commission and Architectural Design Review Board
- Zoning Code and New York State Building Code
