Building Department

The Building Department is located on the second floor of Village Hall. Any action contemplated relating to residential and/or commercial property should be reviewed with the Building Department to determine what regulations, if any, are applicable and whether a permit, inspection or prior approval is required.

Contact the Building Department for the following:

  • New Buildings
  • Additions
  • Alterations (interior or exterior)
  • Accessory Structures (fences, sheds, decks, central air conditioning, etc.)
  • Signs
  • Plan Review and Inspections
  • Issuance of Permits and Certificates of Occupancy
  • Applications to Zoning Board of Appeals, Planning Commission and Architectural Design Review Board
  • Zoning Code and New York State Building Code
