The Village Finance Department is located in the Business Office on the first floor of Village Hall. This Department is responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of the Village, including water and tax billing and collection, sales of various permits for parking areas, and dog licensing. This Office also handles all banking transactions from the various departments, recording all disbursements to vendors and payroll. The Village Budget preparation is one of the major annual tasks, as is the monitoring of expenditure trends. Statement preparation for the monthly reports, as well as the comprehensive annual financial report, is this area's responsibility. For many years, the Village has prepared an award-winning Comprehensive Annual Financial Report which continues to demonstrate our commitment to excellence.

The Purchasing Division covers the purchasing function, conducting bidding for projects, goods and services. In addition, the Division reviews pricing on items, prepares invoices for payment and enforces mandated regulations regarding allowable policies.
