After months of careful study, Creighton Manning presented a Satellite Study as part of the Village’s Traffic Calming Master Plan for Garden City during the June 15, 2023 Board of Trustees meeting. The Satellite Study, which focused on Village-owned streets outside of the Central Section, identified treatments for several locations in the East, West and Estates sections of the Village, with vital community input via Survey 123 and Community Advisory Committees (CACs). Study goals include pedestrian safety, speed reduction, cut-through traffic deterrents on residential streets, safer streets for all users and quality of life improvements.
