Residents, please remind your landscapers that according to Local Law 3-2022, landscapers are not permitted to use gas leaf blowers in the Village beginning Saturday, May 27 through Monday, September 4, 2023. If landscapers are in violation of the above they will be issued an appearance ticket by the Garden City Police Department.

Memorial Day Observance - Garden City Library will be closed Sunday, May 28 and Monday, May 29 and will reopen on Tuesday, May 30 at 9:30 a.m.

10:00 a.m. - Parade begins at Tenth Street to Franklin to the Veterans Memorial by the Library
11:00 a.m. - Memorial Day Ceremony at Veterans Memorial on Seventh Street
Memorial Day - Monday, May 29 - Village offices are closed and will reopen Tuesday, May 30 at 8:30 a.m. There will not be any garbage and/or recycling pick up on Monday, May 29.
